Past experience:

After graduating from UWA Virginia worked at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital as an ENT Registrar before moving to the Emergency Department, at the same time working in the Aboriginal Medical Service Centre in East Perth. Virginia then moved into General Practice working for 23 years in Spearwood often servicing the migrant market gardeners.

Looking for a change in scenery, Virginia moved to the Great Southern working with Silver Chain in Walpole for 10 years and for the past 16 years has been practicing at Denmark Family Practice (previously Dr Jane James' Surgery).

 

Special Interests:

My interests are in Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Aged and Palliative Care and Minor Surgery.

Personal interests:

I have a love of horses in particular Dressage. More recently you will see me on the Judging panel rather than competing. I am also passionate about my garden and sustainable living.
